Same story with the Active 10 app. I turned it and my fitbit on. I walked for 17 minutes. Active 10 says I walked 5 and 4 were brisk. I've already gone to my settings and marked off to allow it past the battery saving mode; so that shouldn't be the problem. I've also had it be accurate a time or two, so again, that shouldn't be the problem. I would like to run an accurate version of this. Continuing-just got back from 11 minute walk. APP says 4 minutes, one brisk.. ;(

I have used this app successfully for several years. However, recently it has become unreliable! For example brisk walking minutes appear and then disappear. Total walking minutes are 50mins and later reduce to 20mins!. I have cleared the cache, restarted phone and reinstalled app. I also have the Fit app and this continues to work, so not a hardware issue

Edit to respond: Hi, yes, I did have my phone in my back pocket. I revisited the app page on Play Store to see if anyone else had the same problem. I noticed that there was an update to the app, which has thankfully fixed the problem I have increased the star rating, minus one star, as I think this would be even better if it could be integrated with the NHS weight loss app. This is a good walking tracker nevertheless 🙂👍

Hi Tracy. As long as you keep your phone in your pocket, then your device should detect your steps even when walking on a treadmill. Please let us know if you need more support! Our email is digitalproducts@dhsc.gov.uk
