Like others have mentioned, you need to log in via out of home to control the unit and it only works occasionally. I find myself using the v1 unless I need to adjust the louvers. I did send a recommendation, which I'm not sure if it was received that the fan speed should be included in the app as that is a major feature that people use a lot.

Terrible application. Version 1 used to let you access the air conditioners on the same network without needing to login but is now not supported by the latest version of Android. This version require you to always login and goes through the cloud to communicate with the air conditioners even if you are home . I wouldn't have bought Daikin units if I knew their apps were so bad.

It takes up to a minute before the command sent from my mobile device activates my units. Not a big deal, however I wish it was somewhat more prompt. Scheduling is good, you can setup different schedule for each unit and each day, however you cannot remove/delete more than one schedule in a single command. Has to be done one-by-one.
