A celebration of freedom

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S. On June 19, 1865, enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, were finally told they were free – two-and-a-half years after the Emancipation Proclamation. At Play, we’re celebrating with apps by Black developers, plus resources to reflect on the Black experience in America.
