(1) 輕型： 發病可急可緩，以胃腸道症狀為主，患兒食欲不振，嬰兒偶有溢乳或嘔吐，大便次數增多及性狀改變，無脫水及全身中毒症狀。
(2) 重型： 常急性發病，也可由輕型逐漸加重轉變而來，除有較重的胃腸道症狀外，還有較明顯的脫水、電解質紊亂和全身中毒症狀(發熱、煩躁、精神萎靡、嗜睡甚至昏迷、休克)。
