About this ebook

Discover this paranormal adventure romance based on Egyptian mythology following goddess and scorpion shifter Serket as she tries to prove that she isn't the one who poisoned Osiris and uncovers a plot that could erase her from everyone's memories forever.

The goddess of healing and scorpions has been accused of poisoning Osiris, and she'll do anything to clear her name.

Sera is used to being forgotten and is happy to be, even if her healing powers have waned in the years since people forgot her real name.

Everything changes when a minor god turns up and reveals her scorpions are being blamed for a poisoning. Determined to prove her innocence, Sera must take her place as a goddess once more and uncover the plot threatening to destroy her.

Our heroine is being set up to take the blame, not something that she is going to take lightly. And if that requires her to reaffirm her past, then that is what she is going to do. This is book one in the series. It works just fine as a standalone. This is a fantasy romance story set in the time of Egyptian gods. The story is well written and easy to read, with a straightforward plot that still manages to have some unexpected twists to it. The characters are well developed and I always like m

I didn't poison Osiris! Sera has been happily forgotten for centuries. Now all of a sudden "... Everything changes when... her scorpions are being blamed for a poisoning...". How could they poison someone when she's not there to control them? Can she save Osiris? Laura Greenwood has written a delightful novella about the Forgotten God Serket. I was enthralled by the information Laura taught me about Sera And I know you will be also!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

All Heart. I love that the goddess of scorpions is also the goddess of medicine and healing. It seems so contradictory and finding her working in a vet’s clinic is poetic. When jackal minor god of kingship and protection, Sed finds her for help just starts the process of sweetness. It’s a feel good story that makes me want to smile. I love how the story circles back to the horoscopes. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
