How could they poison someone when she's not there to control them? Can she save Osiris? Laura Greenwood has written a delightful novella about the Forgotten God Serket. All Heart. I love that the goddess of scorpions is also the goddess of medicine and healing. It seems so contradictory and finding her working in a vet’s clinic is poetic. When jackal minor god of kingship and protection, Sed finds her for help just starts the process of sweetness. It’s a feel good story that makes me want to smile. I love how the story circles back to the horoscopes. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
