Love Sheets on desktop—prefer it to Excel. But the app is lacking. You can't bulk add rows, you can't choose multiple drop-down chip options even when that's set up, and trying to nav frozen columns is a pain. I have to remember to finish workflows later on desktop. I can see from forums that the drop-down issue has been around for years, which makes me think Google isn't attentive enough to this app. Overall, the app is underdeveloped and has needless pain points.

Using a spreadsheet on a mobile device is a painful experience. My keyboard app keeps trying to autocorrect the spelling of function names. Targeting specific cells on a small screen is very challenging. Workflows like copying a cell's formula to paste into a different cell is rage inducing. I highly recommend avoid it unless you are also using a physical keyboard and mouse.

The app had an insane level of confirmation bias for dates. While some apps only change the displayed value, this app changes the entered value itself, so converting date to text alone will not fix the data. Example: "1, 1, 3" becomes "1, 1, 2003" IMO it is easier to convert a row or column into dates rather than converting random cells from date into text and developers have to realize that too.
