Freja eID is an electronic identification you can use to access online services, identify yourself and others, control who gets your personal data and make electronic signatures, all that wrapped in a safe and easy-to-use mobile app.

HOW TO GET FREJA eID

Download the app and create an account:

1. Choose country of your citizenship
2. Register an email address
3. Create a PIN of choice

Once you complete these three simple steps, you can start using Freja eID right away or add value to your e-ID by verifying your identity:

5. Take a photo of yourself

Our security centre will verify this information against the official records and notify you as soon as your identity is confirmed.

This is where you can:

- View connected services and enable/disable them
- Check which personal data you are sharing
- Add usernames - email addresses and phone numbers
- Manage connected devices
- View history of your actions

SECURITY

Freja eID is based on advanced and proven security technology used by banks and authorities worldwide to handle electronic identities, protect sensitive data and meet regulatory requirements.

Your personal details are encrypted, meaning only you can access them in the app or via My Pages.

Ratings and reviews

Very bad experience while having only a coordination number, cannot access most of the functions and connections with other platforms, online services.

The app crashes any time I try to upload my documentation. There is clearly some bug within the app itself as I've even tried on different phones with the same error on the same final step

Broken. App currently won't allow me to get Freja eID Plus (the whole reason for even downloading the app) or where to go to confirm my identity within my region. The app is broken. No "Plus" button as promised, no functionality with 1177 beyond infinite loading screens, no ability to upgrade to "Plus" even within the web page. I liked that I could press my ID for musical notes, but I'd recommend just getting a piano app instead for that.
