I love that I can contact my kids without them having to have a phone. My biggest issue is that when they send me a message, I NEVER hear it come through. I've searched and can't find a way to turn up the notification volume or change the sound on my phone so that I can hear it better. If that one thing were improved, I would give this a 5 star. However, missing their messages, even when I'm consciously waiting for one, is really frustrating.

Hello, the app follows the volume the phone is set to, we do not have our own particular slider for the Gizmohub app. Could you email our team at gizmo@verizon.com so we can gather more details to ensure this is not related to any issues? Again, the volume is not facilitated by the app so this could be due to something else. -Gizmo Dev Team

Generally good overall. However, I sometimes don't get push notifications on my Google Pixel when my son texts me, even if I have the app open. This is a scary to me. The developers really need a desktop version of the app that syncs to the mobile version. I am not able to stare at my phone when I'm at work. I would love to be able to send and receive messages, check location, etc on my computer. Having a desktop version would decrease my fears about not getting messages on my phone.

UPDATE!!! I'm leaving my original review because I think it might be helpful to new owners. BUT, since the watch updated 3 months ago I haven't had any problems with the watch. Learned to turn the watch off nightly and the tracking has been 90 percent better FIRST REVIEW: This watch is junk!!!! Have had it for not even a year and I'm asking for help with the tracking probably a million times. It gets fixed then a month later it's completely off, shows my kid all the way across town. Total bumner
