MyChart is an ok repository for medical records, but it's not great for setting appointments or for communication with doctors. There are different confusing ways to contact the practice and half the time they don't seem to get my messages. For appointments I've found in most cases it's a lot easier to just call by phone. There is a lot of functionality here, but in terms of usability, the site and the app are not intuitive. They need to hire some better user experience design professionals.

I love having access to my records at my fingertips without having to reach out to someone to make a request. Also, it overrides my tendency to misplace the physical documents. Test results are presented in detail, better enabling me to research definitions and recommendations. Also, the ability to communicate with the physician without having to wait on hold or make a trip is invaluable.

I love this app. I am a mess when it comes to remembering anything and losing papers way too much. I struggle to even remember appointments, and the extra reminders are extremely helpful. if I have any questions or concerns, it's easy to get in touch with someone via the email system. It's quick and easy. and generally pretty fast. Sometimes, the queues and wait times or being re routed to voice mail never work. ive left voice mail and not been called back. App has helped much with this problem.
