MyChart is an ok repository for medical records, but it's not great for setting appointments or for communication with doctors. There are different confusing ways to contact the practice and half the time they don't seem to get my messages. For appointments I've found in most cases it's a lot easier to just call by phone. There is a lot of functionality here, but in terms of usability, the site and the app are not intuitive. They need to hire some better user experience design professionals.

Thank you for the review. Many aspects of MyChart are controlled by your own healthcare organization through setup and settings. We recommend reaching out to them for support. If you don't know how to reach them, email us at MyChartSupport@epic.com, let us know the issue and the organization name and we can look up their contact info for you.

The overall app is great- but lately it's been crashing, hasn't been loading correctly, kicks you out, and won't let you access your information at times. It's frustrating to say the least. Doesn't matter if you're using the app or website. For some reason, it seems to only be happening for specific medical centers. Some load perfectly fine, others consistently don't.

I love My Chart! It keeps all of my appointments in order. I can also get the results of tests before my doctor calls with the results. This gives me the opportunity to have questions when my doctor calls. It also connects with the chart on another service. That brings that doctor results and comments here and it allows the other doctor to review all of the results from Phelps Health. It makes it much more convenient for me and all my doctors.
