I've been wearing Starkey aids for well over 15 years. Had great expectations for the Edge AI24s. With this app and the aids, I might as well go back 15 years. App stops often. One or the other aid won't connect. I spend a lot of time force stopping or repairing. Bluetooth connection fades in and out. My biggest complaint and the perk I looked forward to the most was using transcribe on phone calls. I've tried everything. All I get is a little box on the app that says transcribe isn't available.

Easily connected to my hearing aids but the touted AI analysis and adjustment had little useful effect on my ability to hear in any type of noisy environment. The preset programs were marginally useful. A custom created program was helpful for hunting and just listening to forest sounds, aka "wolf ears". The telephone function does not. Function. The phone rings - loudly - in your ear but then you cannot hear their voice, nor can they hear yours.

Still happy with Starkey Cros Aid - improvement on various NHS ones I've used. Zoom, YouTube & Spotify with Bluetooth is generally very clear. Thanks for partly addressing the problems with Starkey app's continual crashing - Since April update & my review on 19/4/25, app been good when it works, apart from 22/4-25/4, when app crashed so much, that I had to force stop it over 20 times. Crashing less frequent now, but app keeps omitting left HA, which picks up sound on my totally deaf side!
