It has improved tremendously since my previous review down below from August 2024. Now it just will not open for me. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but still will not open. It's SUPER slow and just spools when trying to make a transfer to the point that I just have to go to the actual website and make all my transactions. There's no need in having the app if it's going to take an hour to do anything on it.

Thank you for your feedback. The most recent update of the app is compatible with Android 11 or newer, so running the app with Android 10 or older will be slower than with a more recent OS version. We do apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you.

Every month, at the end of the month, I go through all the bills I paid, and then we add them up and split the difference. I come from Wells Fargo, where I could search my transactions for keywords like Food Lion. That would be nice to add because currently, I have to scroll through the whole month and visually find every bill, grocery, etc. It is very tedious. I also needed to see if I paid just the deposit or the total bill for something, and that was awful to scroll through.

I find the SECU app very user-friendly. It would, however, help to have more detailed information about each use of my debit card and auto-drafts from my account. The full name of the business and a more thorough description of the transaction would be great. I do like that i can watch over my son's accounts, too, and easily transfer money to him. Overall, i really like the app.
