Very good app. the only drawback (doorbell specific) is that you cannot turn off notifications from activity, but also keep alerts on when someone clicks the doorbell. I have one at my back door which is a right of way, I don't want to see people passing through, just when they click the button. the camera records activity regardless of this I'm hopeful an update will resolve this.

I use the app to monitor several cameras, both my own, and shared devices 8 time zones away. It is easy to do everything I need to do, but I have one major complaint which prevents me giving five stars. There is no way to change the notification sound from the system default, so I can't tell Tapo alerts from a bunch of other alerts. Calling the Tapo app developers! This isn't rocket science! Please add an option to select the alert sound!

There's a bit of a disconnect within TP-Link's hardware and software teams. Unfortunately this app gets the worst half of the bargain, having been presumably knocked together by their work experience children. It's very very bad and I can only assume nobody who works on it has actually used it in any capacity or they'd have made it work better.
