About this app

Hi, I'm Vipps! A very, very easy app for sending and receiving money in the Nordics. Sending money (vippsing) is safe and done in a flash – just like it should be.

With Vipps, you can:
• send and receive money between Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland
• schedule gifts with digital wrapping
• settle costs like dinners, weekend getaways with your friends
• pay in-store, online and at flea markets in Norway

To use Vipps you need BankID, a Norwegian/Swedish phone number, a Norwegian/Swedish bank card and account, as well as an email address.

Vipps is available in English, Norwegian (bokmål and nynorsk), Swedish, Danish and Finnish.

How long is "show balance" going to be gone? It has been several days and no fix. When show balance is on, you expect it to show it but no, without any logical means, you have to click each account and and re-give access even with it activated, and offcorse en error asking to try again later. Hopeless...

App stopps working. Infinite loading. cannot pay, cannot log in. the application has comepletely wasted itself in my phone completely randomly. contacted customer service and a bot sent me to another bot when telling me it was human. what is happening to Vipps?

Good when it works. Got a D number when I first moved to Norway and it worked fine. Once I got my ID number, there was a lot of messing around to try to get it to work again. Some days it displays my bank balance, some it doesn't. Sometimes it tells me "your bank failed" tho there's no issues on the bank side of things. Confusing and unclear. But when it does work, it's very convenient. Shame really. Could be better. Also, please add night mode!
