I use it as a default voice recorder on my pixel 7. It used to work randomly when I tried to save the audio to my phone with the "share" option (to File by Google download). Recently it became more stable : nothing happens when I choose to save it to files : cache cleared, data saver OFF, phone restarted, tried 20 something times, waited over night. Overall it is VERY UNINTUITIVE and when it worked, at every step there was a surprise. Now it just stopped working for the saving part.

I needed a free, easy to use recording app to have a record of reoccurring sometimes violent emotional abuse I have been dealing with for many years. This one works well & seemed to be what I needed since it didn't make any noises & I use my phone as usual except microphone & it continues to record. I noticed today it has taken $10.79 out of my PayPal. NOT COOL! Theres a $2.99 plan, but it chose higher $ one. I cancelled. I'm on SSDI & must watch each penny. I NEED MY MONEY BACK PLEASE!!

I find it absolutely ridiculous how you can't record at all when the battery is low. What if your phone is almost dead, but you really need to record something important right now (e.g. verbal evidence)? And this isn't a hardware limitation, they intentionally locked it down in the software. This is complete sabotage, and I will not put up with this.
