App used to have a keyboard for command entry. It no longer does. I'm hearing impaired, so voice commands are problematic. I really would appreciate having the ability to type commands again. Also, because only voice commands, and my hearing issues, it rarely understands what I'm saying. *a year later and this is still an issue. seriously, a keyboard option for us with hearing issues. come on. 7-25-25

I have been using Chromecasts for years, but since getting a new phone and downloading the latest Home app, I all appear offline. I have been through all the steps to resolve the issues. All other devices in my house can see the Chromecasts. This is either Google wanting me to buy new Chromecasts or just poor coding. The most stupid thing is that I can use the Screencast settings and it sees all devices. But... I cannot cast Netflix, YouTube, Prime, Music... It's really getting annoying.

There are so many features that don't work reliably and it's so hard to navigate and find the settings etc that you are looking for. It's nearly impossible to find any help/support. You click on a link to help and you end up going in circles. It's not my Internet (fiber) or network everything else works fine. Some family members can view video history and others can't because there is some error. Tried and checked everything we can find but nothing fixes it. (not a network/internet problem)
