App used to have a keyboard for command entry. It no longer does. I'm hearing impaired, so voice commands are problematic. I really would appreciate having the ability to type commands again. Also, because only voice commands, and my hearing issues, it rarely understands what I'm saying. *a year later and this is still an issue. seriously, a keyboard option for us with hearing issues. come on. 7-25-25

I have a bunch of speakers, lights, and cameras all set up in the Google Home App. When it works right, it's great. but it's frequently glitchy... playing music all over the house and then it just stops, trying to cast a song to a speaker group but it just wont work, trying to view a camera but it wont load, etc. Can't view a grid of multiple cameras at once. can't adjust the order of the cameras on the home screen. I really want it to be great, and sometimes it is, but sometimes it sucks.

This app works ok most days but it's still annoying having the Nest app and Home app mixed up together. It would be nice to use one or the other. Also my Nest (battery) doorbell camera is blurry all the time like the bandwidth is cut in half. It's almost to the point of being useless because the recordings are blurry now also which leads me to believe it's the bandwidth or some setting I can't control since the lens is spotless. The other 3 cams I have typically are clear.
