Ratings and reviews

Buggy on android. Every time I open a book, not necessarily even closing play books but switching to a different app, it's on the wrong page. Have to remember to bookmark it before doing anything else, even the bookmarks often go to the wrong page when selecting the bookmark link to get back to the current page. My entire library doesn't show up in the Library and I'm having to re-search on the books being currently read if the app is closed and opened. How are they not getting the basics right?

I have not only viewed, for "free," many "samples" of many books on Play Books, but I have also PURCHASED many of those exact same books. That said, why for "some" of those same Books that I had paid for, some I can copy and paste from with no restrictions, others, strangely enough, I can not, even though, in the end, I understand "copyrights" and so on and so on. My opinion: distracting, extra-burdensome, time-wasting--and, frankly, not a good way to keep one shopping at the same (ANY) store.

I was getting back into an old series favorite so I wanted to read some old ebooks I had purchased as a refresher, but they're suddenly "not available in my region," and there doesn't seem to be a way to switch to the version that IS available in my region without paying for those books a second time. Other than that, I have no issues, but I lost a solid portion of older books that I purchased.
