I used to like this app but ever since I've been needing to budget more lately, the fees have been looking outrageous. The food I'm buying can be less than $10 and the taxes and fees hike the price up to nearly $30. The taxes and fees alone can be more expensive than the food itself. Fine motivator to just cook for myself exclusively and not pay Uber a dime. I didn't have this extra service fee until I moved into a major city. That's a rip off.

Not ordering through this app ever again. It gets worse with every iteration. There is no way to rate a restaurant, only when they decide to give you the option through a prompt days later. Im sure this is done on purpose so you forget about the issue. Worse is receiving open package food items, that have clearly been tampered with, with no way to contact customer service because it is nonexistent. No chat support, no email support, no phone support while charging ridiculously fees for delivery.

The orders are generally correct, but when they are wrong, you get to speak to an outsourced worker who reads from a script like a robot. They have 0 empathy and 0 accountability for the issue. I ordered a meal, and at the checkout screen, I added a drink. I received a drink only. They then presume that I didn't order a meal, when the drink was added at checkout. It was probably a system error, but instead of finding a way to get my meal, they just repeat the "good news" I didn't pay for meal.
