3. Unlock the e-scooter or e-bike by scanning the QR code on the handlebar.

The Voi electric scooter is an excellent choice for when you need to quickly get somewhere within a somewhat shorter distance, while the e-bike is ideal for longer routes.

ROAD SAFETY STARTS WITH YOU
The choices you make while riding an electric scooter or e-bike affect not only you, but all your fellow road users, as well. So let’s get it right! Be sure to know the rules of the road before setting off on an e-scooter or e-bike. Stick to the bike lanes or close to the side curb, and stay off pavements. Never ride under the influence, and always wear a helmet to keep your head safe. Oh, and no twin-riding – one person per e-scooter or e-bike at a time.

FIRST TIME ON AN E-SCOOTER?
If you haven’t used an electric scooter before – activate reduced-speed mode in the app. This caps the max speed of the scooter, allowing you to start off slow while learning to operate the vehicle.

E-SCOOTER AND E-BIKE PARKING
Proper parking is a matter of safety and accessibility. Keep yourself informed of your local rules and regulations in regards to e-scooter and e-bike parking – and follow them. Always park your Voi e-scooter or e-bike standing upright, using the kickstand and be sure not to obstruct the path of pedestrians, cyclists or other vehicles.

Ratings and reviews

Very intuitive app, scooters are mostly great. However, I picked up 3 consecutive scooters with a faulty motor, which makes me think there should be more quality control or at least some warnings beforehand (even when I flagged the case, the scooter re-appeared on the map as available). Also, to date, I haven't received any type of refund.

The app takes longer to end the ride even if i clicked the end button in the app. That's made me to pay extra for the ride. When i sent complaint to the customer service, they replied its the total time from start to end the ride in the app.. I reported the issue when it happened 2nd time. Imagine it's happening for many customers and how much they charge extra from the users.

Needs repolishing as its unreliant, good for mucking about, but can not use it to say catch the train.. Multiple times now, the app is slow and won't end my ride at a designated stop because, apparently, 5 scooters means the space is full. Whilst you have to drag it to another spot, unsurprisingly, you're being charged at your own cost, and you have no way of ending it.
