Functional, but can do with refinement. For example, why can I only set time in 30 minute intervals? The deal breaker for me is if you promise your kids time and then the app can't connect to the backend, which effectively keeps you locked out of the device until someone eventually notices and fixes it. Had to go a whole rainy weekend in the past without being able to give my kids more time on their devices. That's unacceptable.

It gives me my son's usage report. I can set how many hours a day he can use the PC and I can set from what time it can be opened and it shuts the screen at the time I set it - and that's one of the problems I have with it - it only shuts down the screen, but the audio from gaming apps and com apps still go on. I also can't seem to block certain sites in the browsers so my son plays online games thru the browser. I would have given it a 5 if it weren't for those. Better than nothing.

App has become unusable. Used to be quite good. Takes ages to load. Payments fail, then I got charged twice and Microsoft didn't credit my daughters Xbox account, I asked for a refund for the £20 they took, this was refused, the after lots of form filling via an automated system I got £10 back, still £10 down. I can't trust this app anymore. It takes your money and doesn't credit your account and you can't speak to an actual person at Microsoft regarding refund. Really bad service I'm afraid
