Used to really enjoy AllTrails but not at all enjoying the new feature where I can't search for example 'Mont des Cats' and see different options, images, and information. Instead, I have to click on each one individually without actually knowing the info, so it's just a guessing game. Annoying!

As many noted, recent updates aren't improvements. Previously, the preview trail feature was a slider I could move back and forth to see exactly where elevation changes in the trail occurred. It was fast and efficient, allowing me to preview the trail in a second. Now I have to watch an automated recording showing me the preview and then rely on my memory to know where the changes occurred. I can't go back and quickly look or compare one part of the trail to another. Incredibly frustrating.

Been using the app for years. Although I agree with others that the user interface has gone from bad to worse, I can still use it for my needs... That is, if you had not removed the altitude from the maps in the app (still works from the website). I used to use it to see how far there was between two points on very long routes. Coincidentally, why isn't that a feature in itself? Why can't I click on a spot on the route and see how many km into the route it is?
