Can no longer pick specific precise font sizes, for example 15 to 17. Instead it starts skipping to pre-selected font sizes that Google has picked as what's right... Really dumb and over controlling; completely unnecessary, stop treating people like children. At the very least, add the ability to manually enter the font size – should have been there before anyway...

Another reason not to use AI: turning on Gemini will replace the "A" icon (for formatting) with a jewel icon (for Gemini). This renders the app practically useless for writing and editing documents on the fly—a massive oversight! You may as well be writing in a notes app. EDIT: An issue I've seen others complain about is the inability to edit files left open for too long. Clearing the cache alone doesn't help; you have to clear ALL data. Because your docs are saved on the cloud, it's safe.

You are forcing me to; update my app in order to open a document, i had opened previously (with the ability to edit) without an issue before... now out of the blue, it isn't compatable! This is unacceptable! You have now rendered my old mobile a read only device for both Sheets and Docs; I do not want the 'latest' spyware, nor do I see any logical reason for this change. Kindly stop writing off old android users, not everyone wants (or can afford) the latest tech.
