The screen reader can't even handle English - my default, and surely(?) its own native, language! Just now it pronounced 'easy' as 'ease-u' - seems like it's trying to work out words from pictures in an unknown alphabet. Maybe we should be impressed that it knows there's text there at all?! I expect they'll break that too with the next update. Laggy, inconsistent, prone to reading the list of accessibility features instead of what I tap on... and now this. Not useful, not fit for purpose.

It's great when it works. It's not consistent enough when using activation word and is often slow to undertake the command. But in the car is where it's worse. It seems to open up on activation command word but then just doesn't listen to the request. It used to work flawlessly in the car about 3yrs ago. I've seen your response but I've also dealt with your customer services over Google pay issues. And you simply did nothing. Your response is nothing more than a cooperate waffle.

I finally found a reason to start using this on my phone. The "read it" function could be so useful (where it reads out a website). Except that it doesn't work with websites that require you to login. I searched for a solution and can see someone reported this 2 years ago in the community and it's still the same. All they did was lock the thread. Google does not take accessibility seriously. I have submitted feedback on the app, but don't expect anything to change.
