While some of the actions won’t work right away, we are working to support more coming soon. You will be able to switch back to Google Assistant in app settings.

Gemini opt in is rolling out to select devices and countries - opt in to Gemini from your Google Assistant or by downloading the Gemini app.

Can't recognize songs anymore. It was the best feature this guy had, blazing fast and 99% accurate. Now it doesn't know what to do, gets wrong half the tasks I give him and tries to push 3rd party software if I ask him to do something. Also when I try to "unlock more features" the app just crashes. Used to be the best assistant around. Now it's just Siri.

It's just getting worse instead of better! What are you up to? At this point I thought my new phone's microphone didn't work but it's just the assistant that doesn't hear half of what I say even from near! I was so upset when they removed the sound feedback,now it's irritating,you ask it something and nothing happens, you have to free your hands and check why the hand free app on your phone doesn't work and after some exasperating minutes you just surrender and do it manually cuz it doesn't work

The assistant experience is worsening day by day. Song search is broken (not even trying, it just instantly fail). Recipes have been long gone. Now the assistant is no longer able to add elements to a list (it can create a list, show my lists, but it's stupid and can't do something that worked forever suck as "add bananas to my shopping list"). Online I can only find other people with the same issues, but no solutions. (BTW language is Italian, but it's no excuse for such poor quality)
