Great content, very poorly designed app. The header and navigation are unnecessarily huge, most of this space should be used for content. When moving back from an article, you're often taken to the top of the list of articles, not to your previous place in the list. So lots of completely unnecessary scrolling. Confusingly, each day's edition is full of old articles. Leave the old articles in the edition they were printed in. I'm on Android 14 and the latest version. Might cancel my sub.

It will not let me login to the app. Very frustrating. Contacted The Times who said that because I subscribed through the Play Store I should contact them to sort it out. When contacting them they tell me I need to sort it out with the Times!! So ultimately I can't use the app at all. Hopefully a resolution will come in some way, soon. Update on 24/5: I have reinstalled the app and still have the same problem - and it won't even let me enter my login details, it simply tries to login.

App hoovering up data, why does a newspaper have the need to use all my data in the foreground? They need to fix asp. Like many, I'm overseas, so this has used up my allowance, a real pain. It's an app, I've switched off the background data, but really needs to be fixed internally. I've been a subscriber for so many years, but will cancel, it's not worth it Have since cancelled, clearly the issues not been fixed, and the lack of contrition shown when I got in touch was disappointing.
