Ratings and reviews

Idk what happened the last few years, but this app is filled with bugs now. After ads play, periodically, captions get turned on automatically. You can open the app and shut them off, but they will come back on again randomly. Selecting multiple videos to add to a queue when casting to Chromecast is currently broken on Android for the S24 Ultra. When going to select the next video, it plays the video you select instead.

Too many ads now, makes it unbearable to use when following recipes or watching a tutorial on fixing cars, or anything else like listening to music. The ads can be very long, and although there are skip button available for the longer ads, there are a lot of scenarios in which youtube is playing in the background and hands are dirty. Also... Why does opening YouTube launch YouTube shorts without even asking ? I have to perform another step to back out... Ads also when video loaded/replayed

I hate the new update. I could pause a loud or weird video & keep it on the bottom shelf while I browsed for something better. But now, when I pause a video, it just sits there, paused but still in the way, refusing to be minimised or if minimised, I can't close it cause the x button on the pop-up video in the bottom right is so small & the pop-up is always on the video that I'm not interested in. It's like they want me to click on some stupid random video. I hate this new update👎🏻
