I have been using Chromecasts for years, but since getting a new phone and downloading the latest Home app, I all appear offline. I have been through all the steps to resolve the issues. All other devices in my house can see the Chromecasts. This is either Google wanting me to buy new Chromecasts or just poor coding. The most stupid thing is that I can use the Screencast settings and it sees all devices. But... I cannot cast Netflix, YouTube, Prime, Music... It's really getting annoying.

I've had a Google mini for years I've never had an issue with the app untill the last few months. it's been completely impossible to get the app to connect to Wi-Fi on a good day. I've restarted the app.cleared cache. cleared the app. factory reset the Google mini multiple times in one day. This app has genuinely become useless If it can't do its base function. I can just walk over to the Google mini and turn the volume down myself at this rate

when changing routers, it is nearly impossible to find the location to reset the Google Hub. I am rating this out of frustration atm. The app itself is not user friendly at all, and as mentioned above, if you have to change routers you need to reset the Hub. It gives vague directions, but to nothing that looks anything like what is in the instructions. I've taken pictures of the instructions and followed them step by step as best I could guess and by golly. app sucks, but Hub was free
