Car Mode doesn't keep the screen active. Yes, the settings are correct. I can uninstall and reinstall and it will work great once or twice, then it stops. You can't keep anything organized. It shows "recent" playlists but for some reason thinks my Christmas playlist has been recently played in July. The only reason I use this instead of something else is that it is $1 cheaper than Spotify and has my favorite podcasts ad-free.

This is possibly one of the most bloated apps on the play store. Amazon music is a fine service, but the app is so beyond busted in countless ways. For one thing, the app seems to be sitting on over a decade of legacy code. The design is so inconsistent across all of the different pages, it's really a Frankenstein project. The result of this is sooo many bugs like songs in playlists disappearing. Songs on albums refusing to play or disappearing. It's inexplicable. Fix the app amazon.

I want to like this more. I get a lot of free music with the Prime membership, and I can import music I already own. However, it's slow to function, to update, and struggles to work well with Android Auto or Google Maps. If I'm making a playlist, it can take twenty minutes or more to add a handful of songs; I can't directly share playlists with specific people. It definitely needs streamlining, to be a more effective way to listen to music.
