Welcome to Drive Safe & Save, a safety app that can help you save on your State Farm® auto insurance and improve your driving habits.

Drive Safe & Save is on the move!
• We’re moving all Drive Safe & Save features into our award-winning State Farm app.
• We’re making this move state-by-state, and we’ll email the first name listed on your auto policies when it’s time to make the move. You can also check in each app for messages letting you know you it’s time.
• If you download the Drive Safe & Save app now or you’re already using it, you won’t lose any of your info.

You’ll get a 10% discount for signing up and completing the setup steps! After the initial participation period, how you drive will determine how much you save—up to 30%.*

The Drive Safe & Save app automatically records your trips and helps you understand your driving habits—what you’re doing well and what could be improved.**

Along your recent trip routes, the app shows you opportunities for safer driving by flagging these events: acceleration, braking, cornering, phone distraction and speed. (Events are opportunities to improve your driving.)

Check the app often to see:

• Your safety scores
• How much you’re saving per enrolled vehicle
• Number of recent trips that included driving events
• Your trip routes from the last 30 days
• Number of recorded trips from the last 14 days
• Opportunities to improve your driving habits
• Number of recorded miles from the last 14 days
• Safe driving tips

You can also:

Log in easily with any of these methods: user ID and password, biometrics or your Driver’s License

*10% initial discount will apply upon enrollment. Setup is required to keep that discount. After your introductory period, discount for participating customers will vary from 1-50%. Availability and discounts may vary state-to-state (NY capped at 30%). A discount may not be available in NC depending on individual facts and circumstances. Not available in CA, MA, RI.

**After you enroll, we’ll mail you a beacon to place in your vehicle as part of the required setup steps. The beacon works together with the Drive Safe & Save app to accurately record your trips.

braking is messed up if someone pulls out in front of you. you can't help hitting the brakes. and acceleration is messed up you have to accelerate fast getting into a highway these are issues with this app. Well there are more issues. I drive the same way every day and get perfect scores then one day or days i have 4 events cornering when I have driven the same way every time before and got perfect scores. The GPS and app are inaccurate so you don't get a good discount.

I appreciate the feedback and feel it helps me drive safer. But the app is unnecessarily difficult to set up and it constantly nags me to turn on my phone's Blue Tooth — even when I'm not driving. I do connect while driving, but can't keep Bluetooth on all the time because it hogs my battery. I also feel I'm giving up a *lot* of privacy for indirance that's still Hella expensive.

Stability: extremely disappointing, loading more pages of trips twice causes my either my entire phone to crash, or turns my phone screen into a PowerPoint presentation. indicating that you aren't the driver on a trip is guaranteed to crash the app as well. Battery Consumption: this app uses more battery than any app I've ever used in my 6 years of using Android phones, it doesn't know or care about whether or not it needs to run, it just does. I REALLY hope the move to the main app improves.
