App deleted existing sound bar and now won't connect. It will find it 50% of the time but then won't connect. Says it needs to be on same wifi as phone. Checked multiple times and everything is on the only network I have. Have reset to no avail. Sound bar is pretty useless as most of the functions need the app to use.

Had two different soundbars (sp8ya, sp9ya) connected for two months, no issues. Then, suddenly stopped working (no app/hardware/firmware updates/changes). Now I can see both bars when trying to connect, however, after a dozen attempts neither will connect to wifi. I've reset EVERYTHING multiple times, no dice. This ruins the bars as most of the important settings/setup are only accessed via the app. Now complete trash. Returning both. Didn't know LG dropped app support when they dropped mobile.

So far, the app is useless...freezes during setup on Samsung phone. I managed to get the LG soundbar connected and running without the app...a real clunker so far. OK...thanks for reply. When I turn the app on, it tries to set things up. I get tot he screen that asks if there is a wireless key on the soundbar. The screen freezes there...doesn't allow me to press Yes or No. I have a Samsung SM-G955U with Android version 9.I've tried it a few different times with same result.
