Editing after the update. Seeing one of this apps flagship features get locked behind a subscription (offline maps) without much apparent warning is very disappointing, even if the price seems reasonable. Hopefully those prices don't go up later, as we've seen time and time again. To add insult to injury, free offline maps are still boasted about in this app listing... The app does look better and seems a bit more responsive. It's still the best GPS out there that isn't selling your every move.

Don't update to new version yet. the subscription fee they're asking (20 no discount per year) is not unreasonable, however, the activation system doesn't work right now. it is greyed out, with none of the buttons working, so now, I no longer have traffic information in my routes, despite having paid for the subscription. Can't say I'm a fan of the new UI either.

I think the old UI was better, and I wish I could pay to keep that one, especially for Android Auto. Now there is no way to display the city name, and they cleaned up how many address numbers and street names are shown on the map, but I liked seeing that information. While the new version looks a lot cleaner, I miss the sheer amount of data that was shown (at least on the AA screen). I would like them to add exit numbers on the next turn box. It also crashes now, where the old UI was rock solid.
