It's great, it lets you upload things and have more control over it than the YouTube mobile app (not as much as the site, though). HOWEVER. It overheats my phone to DANGEROUS levels. There is also no pause for uploading, so when combined with the overheating factor, this is (and was today) a dangerous combination. Luckily, I don't believe my phone was actually damaged, but it took me FOUR HOURS to upload a 5GB file. Fast speed unlimited mobile data. Everything else is extremely quick.

What happened? When I try to remix a short from a long video of mine, any option other than vertical is very stretched out visibly and not usable. I used to use the square option a lot. The split option does the same thing. I have tried several different of my long videos that used different cameras with the same results. I have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, neither helped. The adjustment timeline has issues too. You should be able to just clip exactly what length you want.

YouTube Studio is pretty easy to use and I'm glad dark themes are becoming common! I have one issue with the apo, however: I'd like to add captions to my videos without having to use a computer. I can't even add captions on my phone's browser, because it just opens up the app, instead of sending me to a page to manage my videos. It's frustrating, to be honest, and as someone that relys on captions to know what's going on, we should be able to add, edit, and publish captions on this app.
