Horrible app! Mobile deposit is impossible, I've tried 20-30 times (my phone has a good camera, I've tried every possible lighting and background, auto and manual capture) and still can't get it to work. It's obvious from the reviews and various reddit threads about this that it is not a new issue, but they don't seem to care to fix it.

Coming from TD Ameritrade and now giving Schwab a full chance, it pales in comparison. Every time I make a trade, it logs me out. When I log back in, good luck getting anything to load faster than 2 minutes. Extremely tedious to use the app. Also, there is no intuitive way to display stocks to see the actual price purchased next to the current price with a difference between shown too. I find myself doing mental math because it is easier than dealing with the UI. Looking for a new broker now.

They have finally made a good update to the app. The grid Positions grid definitely needs some polish, but the customizability of it, and the additional data you can finally see in-app is great. The flow of the app is still awful, and if I could I would take the app from 3 years ago over this, but it's improving
