won't play the playlist I've made. plays everything else it can find that's even remotely similar named. I have done everything on your support page, I've even changed my playlist names. it used to work. now it's useless. your help sheet doesn't help. this problem has been ongoing for more than a year, I want to use my speaker as a speaker but I can't all I use it for now is weather and alarms. it's much to expensive of a device for that

Edit June 10, 2026 I had this rated at 3 stars but in the last year, it has turned into an unusable app. Voice recognition is horrible. Voice comprehension is even worse. The delay in performing tasks is getting longer. I still have Nest Mesh which is also a failing product. Google has taken the User experience in its products and thrown it out the window. I prefer no automation to having half-assed mediocre products

Garbage. Camera doesn't record events, but I am paying for it, no credit from Google, even though I am paying for a service that doesn't work. All devices several times a day I need to force kill the app to see them. I didn't want to migrate from nest to Google, but had no choice as they mailed me threatening a 400% price increase. I move over for half the experience. The same features I paid $90 year for with nest are now $300+. What a rip off.
