Update: Bypassed issue by rotating phone to landscape. I'm using a Pixel 8 Pro. Not sure if the issue falls on Android or app devs to permanently resolve. Picture quality on the Android app is terrible compared to the iPhone app. Most notable on 4k cameras, anything with a straight line shows up as jagged.

Hi, we’d like to help. This definitely shouldn't be the case, have you set the Viewer Quality in Playback Settings to Auto or High? Please reach out to us at mobile-support@ui.com with more information about your setup and screenshots of picture quality on your Android device, so we can provide assistance!

I got unifi protect to be faster than the cloud services. Due to the cloud login and whatever else they do it's often slower than my previous cloud based camera systems. pretty disappointing app experience.

It's a good app, but it's missing a vital feature for me. There are no quick toggles to turn off/on cameras. Ideally, the app would provide a widget so that I could view and toggle my cameras from my home screen.
