6 or 7 years ago, Swann used to be a great security system with a great app. But now it is complete garbage. Most of the time the app won't load. When it does load, it almost immediately loses the connection and freezes up. I highly recommend everyone to buy another brand. ANY other brand. Swann, if you have any recommendations, please let me know because I am ready to start a campaign against your products, and I guarantee that I will hit your bottom line.

DON'T BUY SWANN IF YOU WANT YOUR HOUSE PROTECTED. Playback literally takes up to 30 minutes to view, if your lucky. Notifications come through after your house has been cleaned out and you have very limited control over your home settings from the app. The app fails to load, playback and live view fail 80% of the time and when it does, the app crashes. My cameras are now in the trash and I am using Eufy (899788 times better)

Switched to Swann, old system out of support. Wish spent more time researching. App very slow, loads of lag, and thats if I can get live view, no option for pre-record so capture starts half way across screen then runs for 34 secs after, night vision poor (cameras not app), play back is almost impossible, just get spinning icon, app doesn't keep phone screen alive so resets unless screen kept alive manually, can't play back directly from specific camera have to search through all recordings
