I read the lead-in synopsis of Total AV in a pop-up ad and a bottommost red rectangle said it was FREE. Post installation, however, a notice showed a charge for the app. In my generation (I am 79YO), words such as FREE don't have floating or ephemeral meanings. FREE = FREE. What is going on? Is there another version hidden inside? Perhaps, methinks, the company needs to address this contradictory issue as it is more than a little misleading.

Downright scam if you ask me,I was led to believe that this was a one time buy but eventually found out that you need to fork out an additional 39 dollars for an annual subscription and the best part was I needed to upgrade to the annual subscription to qualify for safe browsing protection,and I later realise that what I actually bought could be had for free on Google play,Added up by the thousands,3 dollars would add up to a princely fortune for these con artists.

Purchased family pack with additional licence. Android app works perfectly -autostart , performing what it is supposed to do. But the windows app is TERRIBLE ! it is working like a reinstall-after-every-reboot app ! After installation , the app works fine. But after shut-down and restart, the app gets into infiNite loop to set up or it just timed out and with a message to restart ! It doesnt make any sense at all !
