Old version was better, didn't want to switch but kept getting notifications to migrate today installed the new version, turned out to be pretty bad. Always starts with delay and is very slow require full signal from wifi or mobile whatever. old app would work with bare minimum network coverage and the UI was pretty smooth. This new version only has bright colors, rest every technical aspect is dull. Developers did a poor job in making it, bank did the worst by allowing it to be released.

The Kotak bank Old app is much better as compared to this one. It worked for me initially but now every time I try to access the app it says no sim detected. Also it asks for unnecessary permissions hence from security perspective as well it does not meet the standards. The app should function without asking for unnecessary permissions like location, etc. Additionally the app is heavy whereas the older version of app was pretty light weight and still works fine. Really disappointed with New app.

There is a bug in the app during QR code payments. When scanning a QR code, the app automatically turns on the flashlight, but even after the transaction is completed successfully, the flashlight remains on. It only turns off when the app is removed from recent apps. This causes unnecessary battery drain and should be fixed in the next update.
