Hold for Me lets you go back to your day. If a business puts you on hold, Google Assistant can wait on the line for you and let you know when someone is ready to talk.

Call Screen answers unknown callers, filters out detected spammers without interrupting you, and helps you learn more about callers you don’t recognize before you pick up.

Check your messages without needing to call your voicemail – view and play them in any order, read transcriptions, and delete or save them right from the app.

Ratings and reviews

Auto-rotation in the Phone app can cause difficulty, especially with hanging up the phone. I would really like a setting to be able to turn rotation off for this app only. It's really annoying to make a call with it in portrait mode, pull the phone away from my ear, and invariably find it in landscape mode. I go to tap the hang up button and it has moved. Obnoxious.

Everything with the app has always been fine. Unfortunately for some reason my microphone won't work on my phone calls. It works fine for video calls and stuff, only when I use the "phone" or "voice to speech" for the keyboard, it's like the mic isn't there. And I just bought the phone. I don't know what happened.

l dont like the new version and can not get the old one. the latest version does not combine all the logs for one number in the same entry. it makes multiple entries. so you cannot know if you went back to the missed calls because it gives you the missed call entry all the time. if you have 10 missed calls and t you want to call them back, you need to make notes elsewhere to make sure you called them all
