This App has its clumsy elements and HM Revenue & Customs isn't exactly prompt about updating your tax record, but this does make it a little easier to see where you stand and get some help, at least. Some of the sections open Web Pages while others have the data within the App, so it's a bit disjointed. the Communications tab at the bottom has three different types of communication each with its own sub-section but this isn't much of an issue in practice.

Pointless! It calls itself an app but it's actually just the Government Gateway page but even more difficult to access. Part of my reason for installing the app was so that I could sign in with just a fingerprint or PIN. But, despite asking for a fingerprint it never provides it as a sign in option. So, now, I have to enter all my GG sign in details PLUS a pin but with no fingerprint access. When I do get in it just shows me the same pages I get on GG. I may as well just use the Web. Pointless!

Absolutely rubbish. I downloaded it, hoping I don't have to make a phone call and I can do everything online. After almost impossible to log in, I stuck with the id verification. It asks for the passport number, insisting to type only numbers, doesn't let to write the letters as well. As passport numbers contains letters, it says the datas are incorret (of course they are they include letters) So the app is absolutely useless, as I have to call HMRC anyway, just as I did before the last 7 years
