About this app

Ditch your plastic card for an all-in-one mobile ID. GET is an online and mobile platform that brings convenience and value to university and hospital campuses.

For colleges and universities: One app does it all! GET allows you to manage funds, make purchases, order food, make dining reservations, and earn rewards. You can also use NFC access to open doors, purchase from vending machines, or pay for your laundry. You can use GET just like you use a plastic ID card.

For healthcare: Add your badge to your mobile phone. Download GET to opt into payroll deduction, manage funds, view and make purchases, report a lost or stolen ID card, and place online food orders.

The GET mobile app only works if your university or hospital offers the GET platform from CBORD. To activate: download the app; select your campus or organization; create an account; and manage your campus ID on your phone. If your campus isn’t listed, contact your local ID card services office.

Questions or comments about GET can be directed to GETFeedback@cbord.com.

Works to view balances, but annoying to use. It requires a log-in every time you open it. You can use a pin or a fingerprint scan, but it's an unnecessary inconvenience. My phone already locks, and the information in CBORD isn't something I care if others can see. An option to not require login would be nice. Upon logging in, I get a mostly empty home screen, including useless a theme-colored header taking up a third of the screen just to show me my name and email address. About a fifth of the screen is used for (the actually useful) buttons, and the rest is just empty. Why not use some of this screen space to show my account balances, so I don't have to click again to see them? The hamburger menu opens a menu which has a circled "i" button. Clicking on this opens a pop-up message that says "Hello!". Why is this extra clutter here? The deposit button from the main screen, if no credit cards are added, just pops up a message that says "Hmmm..." and some text explaining how to add cards. If no credit cards are added yet, why not just take the user directly to the add card screen? Finally, it would be nice to allow using Google Pay instead of direct credit card info entry.

The app is extremely buggy, has a clunky interface, crashes, and has non-deterministic behavior. You might click on your orders, have it buffer for a while, and then nothing will happen -- not even a timeout message. Perhaps the most egregious waste of time is, after selecting your order, having to add it to your cart. This might make sense if the cart function worked, but after having tried to place multiple orders in my cart, I found that only the most recent order actually gets placed. So why does the cart function exist? It's not just bad because its broken, its bad because its broken and it's a required detour you have to make to place your order. While I'm taking the time to write this review, let me rattle off a few more things that make this app bad: - no searching, only scrolling - icons, options, and menus will sometimes disappear/turn invisible - if you lock your phone/put it to sleep, you lose all progress in placing an order - long loading screen as soon as you boot the app - long loading screen after you put in your pin - buffers for a long time after each selection - useless favorites function - scrolling for time selection is clunky - text gets cut off if a description/title is too long and is unreadable I have no choice but to use this app on my college campus, but if you can opt out of using it, or get's service generally, I would urge you to do so.

The UI is pleasant but the app seems buggy. I had no problem with sign on thru Microsoft but uploading an ID was a challenge. If I uploaded the front picture and then tried to upload the back one, the front one disappeared. However, uploading the back picture and then the front (working right to left) worked. Also the stretched white splash screen with random black pixels....HOW did that get into production? LMFAO
