The only thing negative about the Deco app is its lack of in-depth capability to control the system. TP-Link seems to have the Apple-like philosophy of, "we don't want you to change anything because we believe it's perfect." It would be perfect if it didn't limit consumers, but it does. This makes it a bit flawed and not a "5 star" product or app. I would be in love if it had more advanced options allowing for better control.

Consistently fails to maintain connection to home network while trying to configure services such as NAT/port forwarding. I continually have to restart the app to forward a single port. The app keeps giving the "We can't find Deco" message and saying it failed to connect to the Cloud service. It doesn't matter if I'm on Wi-Fi, data, in my house, out of my house, or wherever. Even after the recent update, it continues. I've submitted multiple problem logs. Please build an app that WORKS.

Really great app! Runs very smooth and fast, and the user interface is clean and simple. However, coming from ASUS router, it allowed me to throttle the bandwidth of any client device on the network down to 0.1 mbps, which effectively disabled unwanted bandwidth draws like turned on but untilized devices, but this app only allows you make devices "high priority." Would like a throttle feature, and this would be a 6/5 star review.
