Ratings and reviews

I'm okay with paying the drivers a tip. It's well-earned. I'm not OK with getting continuously nickeled and dimed with service fees and delivery charges on top of items I know are already up charged versus in-store. When your extra fees are close to 1/3 of the food order, you must stop. Account closed. App deleted.

I use Skip regularly. Overall, the app and service are pretty good. There have been several instances where the courier did not deliver my order to my apartment door and just left it in the lobby of my 18 story high rise and by the time I've gotten downstairs someone's taken my order. Customer service has, for the most part, been very helpful in these instances, although from time to time, the person who connects to the chat will just end the chat without resolution. Overall, 3/5 stars 🌟

I split online orders between Skip and Door Dash. Skip is definitely worse. Three times drivers took off with my order, they more often don't follow instruction to ring the doorbell, and they combine deliveries bizarrely. Last order the driver was instructed to go 15-20 minutes out of his way to drop off the other order first, even though I was 3 minutes away from the restaurant. The driver kept saying "the app told me to go to the other place first." I'm sure it did, but where's common sense?
