Square Point of Sale is the customisable point-of-sale app that enables you to sell anywhere and in any way your customers want to buy.

Use the Point of Sale app with a Square Reader to allow customers to pay with contactless from all major credit and debit cards or touch-free using payment links, QR codes, Apple Pay, Google Pay or by manually entering their card details.

Issue and track invoices directly from the app. Customise your invoices, set up weekly or monthly recurring invoices from your Dashboard and let customers pay online with a credit or debit card. You can even save their card details on file for automatic payments on recurring invoices.

Connect your Point of Sale app to a free Square Online Store to accept orders for pickup and delivery.

Funds are transferred fast – see money in your bank account as soon as the next business day.

Use your point-of-sale system to keep track of sales and inventory in real time, manage items and employees and view analytics about your business.

All this with no long-term contracts or surprise fees.

SQUARE DASHBOARD

The free Square Dashboard app works in sync with the Square Point of Sale app and lets you view your live sales data, access powerful analytics and other easy tools to help you track and improve your business.

PAYMENT INFORMATION FOR AUSTRALIA.

1.6% PER TAP OR INSERT on Square Terminal and Square Register or 1.9% with Square Reader. That’s it. Just one flat rate for all transactions so you know exactly what you’ll get in your bank account. Accept Visa, Mastercard, eftpos and American Express cards all at the same rate. Invoices are free to send and cost 2.2% per invoice paid online.

Get your money fast. Square transfers payments into your bank account as fast as the next business day automatically or manually at a time that suits you.

I have been using the square app for a few years now, and just recently my reader was not connecting, I panicked and ordered a new one, but in the meantime figured out that it would connect if I went into the settings. I received my new reader, and the same thing happens, so it must be a glitch with the recent update. So frustrating because I did not have to spend $60.00 for a new one. Very disappointing! I really liked it until now. Please fix the glitch.

Loved square and have been using it since startup. Would give it 5 stars until recently this year. The wireless reader keeps disconnecting and refuses to reconnect if phone screen gets turned off. Need to fully close out the app and then reload. Then the app wont connect to the square server. We then close and open app again. Then need to trigger a tap to pay using the actual phone and once this transaction is done the wireless pad will reconnect. Behavoir is repeatable. Would love a fix for it

I got square because my husband has had it for about 10 years, it has been good for him. I am a very small business. I just needed a way to except credit cards. I can't even get thru the verification process. I spoke to someone on the phone who couldn't or wouldn't explane why I was flagged for further verification. They want all this info and it won't upload on their app. After three phone calls they email me a link that did allow upload. Not my phone. They still won't say why. This app sucks!
