I was on a monthly recurring plan with a plus membership and I've had the same professional for about a year. However the app has now been updated where it cancelled your subscription and now the monthly frequency is no longer available and you're forced to either choose fortnightly or a one-time booking at a higher price - and you won't be able to get the professional you've been getting. Oh but the plus membership subscription remained even after the update though.....

I have had the most disappointing experience with Urban Company. Booked the weekly bathroom cleaning service twice. Their professionals never turn up. I have had every single service rescheduled, sometimes 2-3 times. To make matters worse it's ridiculously hard to reach a human customer service agent. Most of the help options take you to a chat bot which won't solve your problem. UC takes the payment upfront and then doesn't deliver the service. A big headache to use rather than a help!

The app is quite misleading. Does not explain the services in detail leading to confusion with service provider. For eg in salon service the app should exactly mention the what is included in full face threading. Some beautician provided eyebrows in it and some said eyebrows not included. Also on calling customer care, it was informed that eyebrows are not included. But picture in app shows eyebrows included in full face threading. This is highly misleading. And this is just one example.
