Same as a lot of other reviews this has been probably the worst app update I've encountered ever. Speed pass was so convenient and fast! I'm not sure what the thought process in completely changing something that was working was but it was a horrible one. I also had to update while at the pump and it was very frustrating. Like a lot of others this change will make me less likely to go to an esso now versus other options.

Maybe I'm just dumb and have no idea what I'm doing, but I downloaded the app because of the claim that they're giving an extra 10pts per litre of gas if you pay with the app if you register your pcid before hand. However, at the pump you have to scan your optimum card, then scan your method of payment, nothing for the app. If you go on the app and try to pay through the app it says that the pump is already occupied. I tried again without scanning and it gave me an error. Absolutely garbage.

I am so disappointed with this Esso mobile App. I have been using Esso for so many years with no problems when they had the speedpass. Now I have not been able to do anything for over a month, and please don't say to contact you, because I have yesterday twice June/11/24 and twice was transferred to just hear again (please press 1 for this, 2 for this, 3 for you know the rest ) Less time at the station mean more time for your life. NO NO more time at the station mean less time with my life.
