Compared to the other two apps I've used for smart lighting, Tapo is intuitive and easy to use. I'm able to set up all the schedules I want to with ease, as well as directly controlling what my lights are doing at any given moment. Govee, by comparison is won't let me set up schedules, and it is really hard to figure out, while Lumiman worked but wasn't super intuitive, and they don't even make the bulbs I was using anymore so I couldn't replace the ones that died after three years.

App can't be used on PC unless you use an emulator like BlueStacks. No native pc app available. When cameras go down and this happens a couple times a month, only way to re-add is to hard reset them, which wipes out their IP and you have to walk to each camera with each phone that has the app and add them via Bluetooth. No option add them via IP, which hilariously you can do on something as basic as vlc player.

Great app! I use it to monitor my electrical usage to pay my part of the bill every month, since I have a lot of computers and use up to $100 in electricity. You can set your billing, too, and it will calculate the cost on a per hour, per day, per month, and per year basis! Amazing! My biggest complaint is there is no way to see an aggregate of power usage of the plugs. I have to go to each one and see the usage.
