The app interface with my new scale seems to work fine. GUI is not very nice but manageable. Could do without the prompts for extra health tracking metrics because (like everyone else), I already use an integrated product for that (Google Fit). Nobody wants to use this app for anything but pulling data and syncing lol Which is actually the reason for the 2 star review. This app appears to now be blocked by Google Fit (tries to access Google account info). Need to fix or going to return scale.

Hi Nate, sorry for the inconvenience caused. Google is transitioning these services from Google Fit to a new system called Health Connect. So the function can not be used. Our technical team is actively exploring options to access and potentially integrate with Health Connect in the future. Sincerely, Customer Service Team

The app currently does not allow units to be changed from metric (kilograms and centimeters). This is problematic given the price of the scale and that this can only be done through the app. If this isn't resolved soon I will be sending back this, my renpho luggage scale, and renpho measuring tape. As of now I recommend not getting this scale compared to others.

Before you change the unit of the scale display, please make sure your scale is connected to your phone, then tap the Settings button on the Me page and tap the unit to modify the unit. EDIT: After logging out, restarting my phone, and then logging back in, my data reappeared. There is still no sync option, though, & the app isn't as user friendly as it was. Everything takes more taps to do, it seems. I used to love the app. But after changing the app, my data will not sync. I've tried the trouble-shooting steps, but can't complete them because there are no "sync" options where the chatbot says there should be. I've logged in & out a few times.
