Introducing myCOMPASS PA, for Pennsylvanians who have applied for or get health and human service programs or benefits. It offers many of the same features found on COMPASS, but right from your phone. You can now access your benefits from anywhere, whenever you want.

The best part? You can take care of business while you’re on-the-go. Tasks that used to involve a trip to the county assistance office can be accomplished with only a few minutes on the app. Whether you want to know the status of your application or send us a photo of required documents, you’re always just a few taps away.

This app, much like its governmental creator (PA Department of Human Services) is clunky, glitchy, and always a bit behind the times in terms of its technology and offerings. Specifically, I encounter problems trying to log in, often having to clear the cache multiple times and even deleting and reinstalling the app. I'm unable to download PDF notifications DHS sends. I wish it would support real-time customer service support, or at the very least, publicize the email address of my CAO. 👎🏻

It won't download a letter in my messages. It keeps saying the app is unavailable right now. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Same.problem. I called the helpline and it was busy both times. The app and the helpline are supposed to be available 24-7. The glitches are creating a need for a visit to the county office and a time consuming, old-fashioned, in accessible for many, process, defeating the purpose of the technology.

The app itself doesn't work. You'll get notifications that you have pending messages. Once opened, and you attempt to click (select) the message you want tobread, a message pops up and says "issue with app. Try again later". This is a complete waste of space on your phone. Save yourself the hassle, call in and speak with your case manager

What's new

Our newest release has a few enhancements for the processing of LIHEAP applications. This update also contains several bug fixes and some performance updates to improve your overall app experience.
